    Psalm 119:9-16 KJV
    ב BETH

9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
12 Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.
13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

Psalm 119:9-16 WLC (Hebrew text is read from right to left)

    בּכל־לבּי דרשׁתּיך אל־תּשׁגּני ממּצותיך׃
    בּלבּי צפנתּי אמרתך למען לא אחטא־לך׃
    בּרוּך אתּה יהוה למּדני חקּיך׃

    Psalm 119:1-8 KJV

    א ALEPH

1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
4 Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
5 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
8 I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.

    Psalms

Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible and has 176 verses.

There are 22 stanzas, one for each letter in the Hebrew alphabet. Each stanza has 8 verses and each verse in the stanza begins with the corresponding letter in the Hebrew alphabet. This creates an acrostic poem.

Psalm 1, 19 and 119 are psalms about the Law of God.

    Contentment

Philippians 4:10-13 KJV – 10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity. 11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, [therewith] to be content. 12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

1Timothy 6:6-8 KJV – 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into [this] world, [and it is] certain we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

Hebrews 13:5 KJV – 5 [Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

    Salvation

    Heavenly Father,

Creator of heaven and earth, thank you for this day. Thank you for creating me and putting breath in my body; for giving me hope to stay on the narrow path before me.

Father, thank you for sending your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day.

Thank you, Jesus, for paying our sin debt, bearing our shame and transgressions on the cross. You died a sinner’s death even though you were sinless. We do not deserve your mercy or grace, yet you sacrificed your life on the cross for us, so that we can be free of the bondage of sin.

Father, I praise you for your mercy and long-suffering!

I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.

    Amen.

    Rom 10:9-11 KJV

    (9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (11) For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

    Isaiah 61:10-11 KJV

    (10) I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh [himself] with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth [herself] with her jewels.

    (11) For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

    His grace is sufficient.

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV

    2 Corinthians 12:9 Context

6For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me. 7And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. 11I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing. 12Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds. (kingjamesbibleonline.org)
